Got An Inspirational Story? ENTER ‘YouTube Next Vlogger’ Competition Deadline 18th April 2013
Anyone with a camera, the initiative and a YouTube account can be a vlogger. But do you have what it takes to be a YouTube Next Vlogger? If so enter the YouTube Next Vlogger competition.
Have you ever had to overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle? Was there a goal you reached through hard-work and perseverance? Have you incorporated these inspiring tales of accomplishment into your channel? From today until April 18, 2013, applications will be open for 16 inspired and inspiring vloggers to tell YouTube about their struggles and victories – whether big or small.
This iteration of YouTube Next Vlogger will provide the 16 winning entrants the opportunity to collaborate on videos with other similarly passionate vloggers. They’ll also take part in three months of intimate educational workshops held on Google+ Hangouts. And to top it off, each vlogger will receive $4,000 worth of video equipment and mentoring from industry experts and content creators on YouTube.
To be eligible to enter the Program Entrees must:
1) Be a legal resident of Australia, Canada (excluding residents of Quebec), India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States
2) Be aged 18 or over at the time of entry
3) Apply as an individual, not as part of a team or a group
4) Own a YouTube channel that has monetization enabled for at least 75% of all videos in the channel library
5) Have at least 5,000 subscribers on March 21, 2013 and/or at least 1,000,000 total videos views all-time for your Channel on March 21, 2013
7) Have a Google+ account
8) Have access to a webcam
9) Be available to participate in all Program activities (see Program Components for details) during the listed dates and times;
10) Have a YouTube account in good standing, including but not limited to, no outstanding copyright or Terms of Use (“TOU”) strikes on your YouTube account.
